Steps for adding a specialty that is not in the list:
1. Pull up faculty member by entering name in the quick search (see highlighted yellow in screenshot below) or using Faculty Search in the left-hand navigation.
2. Select ‘Update Faculty Profiles’. This is a shortcut to the ‘Faculty Profile’ tab.
3. Click on ‘Specialties’ category.
4.Once you’ve determined that your specialty is not in the list, type it in the search field and select ‘Not In List’.
5. Select the radio button for ‘Specialty’ (if you’re adding a subspecialty, select the specialty that it falls under), then select the icon to move the specialty to the “Find A Doctor/CV Display Order” list and hit ‘Save’. A notification will be sent to the MBM office where it will be reviewed. It will show on the CV in the interim, but the specialty/subspecialty must be approved before it will show on the Find A Doctor website.
